Terms & Conditions

Valid from 1 September 2010.

Okay, now for the boring bit that has to be covered. I know it's not that interesting, but please read it so we both know where we stand.

Materials used

Descriptions of pieces of work include descriptions of the materials used for the piece.

I source all the materials I use from UK suppliers.

Commissions

Any commission could take 3 or more weeks to complete. Please keep this in mind when contacting me about a piece of work you would like.

This period of time includes time to source the materials required, the creation of the piece and time for hallmarking to be carried out (if required by law).

The price displayed next to any commissioned piece should be used as a guide. A price estimate for any new commission will be quoted based on current prices for the materials used. The final price will be confirmed on completion of the commission.

50 % of the quoted price will need to be paid as a non-refundable deposit before I start work on the commission.

The final price (less deposit) will need to be paid on completion of the commission.

An invoice and photographs of your completed commission will be emailed to you to confirm this amount.

Your finished commission will be posted to you after final payment has been received.

I will only accept the return of commissioned pieces if they are faulty.

Payment

Payment must be received in full before any item is dispatched.

A PayPal invoice will be sent for all orders. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account in order to pay by credit or debit card.

Payment by cheque or postal order: Whilst payment via PayPal is preferred, payment by cheque or postal order will be accepted with prior agreement. Please send an email indicating that cheque or postal order payment is requested and for a postal address, and do allow additional time for the funds to clear as the item will not be posted until this has happened.

Post & packing

Postage to within the mainland United Kingdom is included in the price of the item. For non-mainland United Kingdom addresses, the price quoted will show any difference in postal costs. Sterling silver items will be posted as insured items and a signature may be required. Silver and gold plated items will be posted 1st class. Insurance can be requested, at additional cost.

Posting items to countries outside of the United Kingdom will incur an extra cost to cover the higher postal charges. The extra charge will depend on the item and the country of destination.

All items purchased will be packaged in a presentation box.

Returns policy

I will only accept the return of commissioned pieces if they are faulty.

Any non-commissioned item that is considered to be unsatisfactory can be returned providing that it is returned within seven days of receipt. Please contact me by email or in writing as soon as is possible if you are considering returning an item. Items must be returned unworn and in their original packaging and condition.

Earrings for pierced ears cannot be returned, unless faulty, for health and safety reasons.
